“Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Caraga Regional Office, along with all the Regional Offices nationwide, strongly adheres to the mandate under Section 84 (q) of RA 9165 that states ‘PDEA shall initiate and undertake a national campaign for drug prevention and drug control programs, where it may enlist the assistance of any department, bureau, office, agency, or instrumentality of the government, including government-owned and/or controlled corporations, in the anti-illegal drugs drive.’
Thus, this is an opportune time to engage a strong collaboration with BOC-Surigao City, an ally in the combat of illegal drugs in the gateway of Mindanao - Surigao City.
Said collaboration will further enhance the anti-drug operations and ensure that all incoming and outgoing cargoes, passenger vessels and other ships in Surigao City, and other ports of the region will pass through the stringent partnership of PDEA Caraga and BOC-Surigao City.”
