Building a dream!
Yesterday, I and the team from the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) took an 11-hour trip from Davao City to Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay to conduct a 2-day workshop for the three towns in Olutanga Island.
Leaving Davao City at 3 p.m. yesterday, the team arrived in Ipil at 2 a.m. today for the start of the workshop this morning.
The workshop, participated in by officials of the Provincial Government, the three mayors and their key officials and leaders of the different sectors will craft the Master Plan for Agriculture and Fisheries for the island.
Concerns on security will also be tackled and included in the Master Plan.
