Bohol Beach Club Hit By Fire; Restaurant Destroyed

A kitchen fire that broke around 2:20 this morning (July 15, 2007) at the Bohol Beach Club in Bolod, Panglao totally damaged one of the resort's restaurants.

Firefighters were still trying to clear the burned area at 5 this morning which gutted down the entire ceiling of Agotata Restaurant, one of three restaurants of BBC.

The restaurant is found in the new wing of the resort.

The Tagbilaran Fire Department reportedly received the fire alarm around 3 this morning. Firetrucks from the three Tagbilaran Fire Substations responded to the scene.

According to resort personnel, interviewed by the Chronicle, one of the restaurant's cooks was preparing breakfast for their guests when the fire broke out.

Nganong late naman sila nakadawat ug call, 2:20 pa gud nagsugod ang sunog, wala diay sila manawag dayon?

Sad naman! Gaano ba kalaki ang pinsala? Dito kasi sa tarragona spain, mabilis ang action ng government ana na case!
