horrifying.  it seems as if bohol's crimes of murder are getting more brazen.  we condole with the captain's family.  may justice take its course.

I hope the killing is not election motivated like vendetta sort of comeback. May the local LE agencies will track down the killer to bring justice at least with little speed.

Police remains clueless in barangay captain slay.

Police remains clueless on the murder of the barangay captain in Cadapdapan in the town of Candijay, who was strafed to death with M16 at his residence in the last days of the gun ban.

This only proved that the gun ban, which ends today, had been loose even to the bulky high-powered firearms.

Cadapdapan barangay captain Ricardo Perocho was watching TV with his children at around 7:30 Saturday evening when the gun men attacked him.

Perocho is the first casualty after the May 10 elections. There were more when election was approaching, even at the height of gun ban.

Candijay Police Inspector Alfredo Kuhay and the Scene of the Crime operatives (SOCO) still await the results of the tests currently conducted by the PNP Crime Laboratory at Camp Dagohoy.

Police refused to give a hint on the possible motive of the incident.

His son, Charlie, immediately took his younger sister to a safe place upon the first burst of gunfire.

After the rapid burst of gunshots, the children found their father already dead at the living room.

Police are often clueless or they just seem that way to hide any fact that they might be covering up any evidence in that they were or had a part of any crime....or that they are maybe hiding a relative who may be a suspect.... Four year's of criminology??? What is their excuse for being clueless???

Tagbilaran is infested with gangs everywhere these days and not a policeman to be seen patrolling the beat???

Instead they are busy watching TV together like as if having a family night at the movies!

Police need to start getting a clue....

i think that killing is an election motivated... for me , those persons who murder brgy. captain perocho is also envy on what mr. perocho had now..  we can't deny the fact that there are still envious and bad mannered persons in bohol.. but not all..
.. i do hope that we will know now the persons involved in that crime..  pls. make the investigation FASTER...
