QUEZON CITY, Aug. 11 -- The Bureau of Plant Industry - Crop Research and Production Support Division (BPI - CRPSD) continues to validate sites, meet prospective project partners and monitor established model farms as more and more associations and civic groups are becoming interested to adopt urban agriculture program of the Department of Agriculture's the "Plant, Plant, Plant" Program.

Urban agriculture will ensure food availability and accessibility amidst the threats of COVID-19. Families will have access to safe and nutritious food and, later, source of income.
BPI will provide starter kits, training, and monitor the area while the project partners are expected to ensure success and sustainability of the project.
Sites visited were Mambugan, Antipolo, Diocese of Cubao Home Owners Association; Rotary Club of Manila and Sto Nino. Home Owners Association of Cupang, Muntinlupa City, Local Government Unit of Las Piñas, Pateros, Muntinlupa City Technical Institute and other potential garden sites in Ermita, Makati and Pasay City.
