9th International IT-BPM Summit to discuss threat of AI, automationThe upcoming 9th International IT-BPM Summit this month will dwell on discussions on the looming threat of artificial intelligence and automation. IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) President Rey Untal confirmed that the association has decided to elevate the discussion on artificial intelligence, automation, and robotics during the summit. Experts from around the world are flying in to discuss the impact of technology and the future of the industry in great deal, Untal said. He added that while automation is considered as threat, it also enables the IT-BPM industry to move up the value chain.
