More than P300,000 worth of cellular phones and ready-to-wear (RTW) clothings were carted away by unidentified robbers who ransacked PJ Star Enterprises at the Ambassador Arcade along B. Inting Street last Monday.
Police said the burglars gained entry through the establishment's roof by cutting its galvanized iron roofing.
A total of 94 cellular phones and RTWs were stolen from the store.
The firm's security guard, stationed outside the store, knew about the robbery when store employees reported for work the following morning.
Last Wednesday, at around 4:45 a.m., the residence of Dr. Henya Sotelo in Caingget Drive, barangay Booy, this city was intruded by a lone robber who forcibly entered the house through a wooden door.
The suspect took off with 1 diamond ring, 1 diamond earring, 1 white gold ring, 2 gold bungles, 2 Chinese gold necklaces, 1 unit Nokia cellphone and 1 unit DVD player.
Last January 8, around 8 a.m., robbers broke into the law office of lawyer Antonio Amora Jr., Save n' Earn and Nuga Best.
The suspects reportedly gained entry through the roof of the two adjacent buildings where the three establishments are located.
Taken from Amora's law office was a laptop computer worth P40,000. Several land titles owned by the lawyer's clients were allegedly torn into pieces by the suspects.
At the adjacent building where Nuga Best and Save n' Earn were housed, the robbers took off with another laptop computer valued at P45,000, a video camera worth P50,000, cash amounting to P3,100.
Police have yet to identify the suspects of the series of shootings and robberies.
