Two separate shooting incidents resulting from gang wars here in the city already claimed one casualty with another injured.
Last Tuesday night, one Glen Maestrado, 21, was shot dead by a lone suspect while in a drinking session with five others that included his brother at Hi-Noon Restaurant along CPG Avenue, this city.
Maestrado was rushed at the Gov. Celestino Gallares Regional Hospital but later died due to the bullet wound on his neck.
He is said to be a member of one youth gang which the suspect is in conflict with.
According to police, the shooting incident was a retribution by the rival gang.
Last week, one Jay Ranas y Balate, 17, a contractual employee of Bohol Quality Mall and resident of barangay Tabalong, Dauis was also shot along CPG Avenue.
Ranas was standing infront of BQ Mall around 8:30 p.m. when the suspect, identified as one John Paul Ymbong, armed with a .38 caliber revolver, shot him.
The victim was hit in the abdomen and is being treated at the Gov. Celestino Gallares Regional Hospital.
Ranas and Ymbong are alleged to be members of rival gangs here, according to police.
