FOLLOWING impressive knockout victories over their foes this month, world champions
Nonito Donaire Jr. and
Fernando Montiel are scheduled to face each other in November.
According to a report on Philboxing.com, Top Rank promoter Bob Arum, who promotes both fighters, said Montiel will be fighting Donaire in November but the venue is yet to be finalized this week.
Donaire, who is currently the interim World Boxing Association super flyweight champion, hasn't fought an elite fighter since his fifth-round stoppage upset over Vic Darchinyan in 2007.
The 27-year-old Talibon, Bohol native is ecstatic about his upcoming bout and believes Montiel is the best opponent for him.
