Mexican challenger Omar Niño Romero is eyeing a knockout victory over Filipino WBC light flyweight champion
Rodel Mayol in their highly anticipated rematch today in his own turf (Manila Time).
"I want to recover the crown and return it to Mexico. We are sure that this will happen, we cannot fail again in Mexico. We have to knock him out to win clearly." Omar Niño was quoted in an article posted in the Spanish language boxing website notifight.com.
The 34 year-old Romero (28-3-2, 11 KO's) also said that "Weare training hard. We know the weaknesses of Mayol, in this occasion I will leave the winner. I will try to win for knockout. I do not want any surprise in the scoring, there will be no place for doubts, I will win." - by Manny Bautista
