Manhunt continues for robbery-rape suspectsTwo of the three suspects in the robbery with rape case reported in barangay Mahayag, San Miguel are now the object of a police manhunt.
The three suspects took cash amounting P1,000, groceries and also a motorcycle owned by the victim used as their get-away vehicle.
Initial police investigation revealed that the 15-year old daughter of the businessman was raped. A follow-up operation caught one of the suspects who was identified as the one who raped the businessman’s daughter.
Witnesses said that the three suspects were earlier seen drinking in the businessman’s store.
The hot pursuit had gone up to Dagohoy where the two remaining suspects were believed hiding.
Police are also checking Ubay and Buenavista as the suspects were reported as residents of those towns.
