Magnitude 3.2 earthquake causes no damage in La Union

SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union, Dec. 3 (PNA) -- No damage was reported in the magnitude 3.2 earthquake that jolted the province of La Union Saturday morning, according to the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) in Region 1.

OCD said the tremor was felt by local residents at 8:57 a.m on Saturday.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) traced the epicenter of the quake at six kilometers northwest of San Fernando City, La Union.

It was too weak to be felt in adjacent areas, including Dagupan City and Pangasinan.

Phivolcs said the temblor, which was tectonic in origin, had a shallow depth of 13 kilometers.

OCD quoted Phivolcs as saying that aftershocks were not expected. (PNA)

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
