HNU Graduate Tops CPA Board Exam

Warren Bompat Yap Jr., son of Mr and Mrs. Warren Yap (nee Leyema Bompat), of Wrenley's Appliance and Wregent Hotel this city, ranked 2nd place in the board examinations for Certified Public Accountants (CPA) given by the Professional Regulations Commi ssion (PRC) earlier this month.

The new CPA graduated cum laude from Holy Name University (HNU) in October last year. He finished the course in three and a half years.

Other board exam passers of HNU are Elaine U. Arcales, Myranel S. Banga, Juleah Anne P. Caballo, Philip Roseller S. Cajes, Jonalee M. Coja, Josephine V. Conson, Trinita Corazon A. Fuego, Silver D. Gran, Dario P. Laurden, Dino P. Malugao, Jevios Mar T. Monton, Roy R. Pacot, Rocelle G. Palaca, Melody Faith R. Trigo.

HNU ranked third nationwide with a passing percentage of 39 percent as compared to the national passing percentage of 24 percent.
