Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) Exam in Bohol

Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) based in Camp General Mariano N. Castañeda, in Silang, Cavite, a constitutive institution of the Philippine Public Safety College, has set the annual Cadet Admission Test for the four-year Bachelor of Science in Public safety (BSPS), a full scholarship Cadetship program, on October 19 from 7 a.m. to 12 noon in 23 testing centers nationwide.

PNPA director, PSSUPT Danilo Abarzosa, informed Bohol Provincial Police Director Edgardo Ingking about this in a letter dated July 9, 2008.

PNPA, pursuant to its constitutional mandate administers and controls the annual cadet Admission Test in the country.

Qualified for admission are male or female natural born Filipino citizens, with good moral character, single and with no legal obligations to support a child or children, aged 17-21 years old at the time of admission; must at least stand 162.5 cm (5ft 4 inches) tall for male and 157.5 cm ( 5ft 2 inches) for female; weigh not more nor less than five kilograms of the standard weight measurement corresponding to height, age and sex; at least high school graduate; must be able to perform the physical fitness exercises; physically and mentally fit for cadetship; no criminal, administrative or civil case on file before any prosecutor's office or any Court of Justice and other derogatory record/s and not a former cadet of PNPA or other service academies.

Application forms for the examination can be obtained for free at any police station nationwide.

Any interested individual may file his/her application together with all the required supporting documents and submit duly accomplished application form together with a self-stamped Window Envelope to the Office of the Registrar or mail to: The Director, Philippine National Police Academy, Camp General Mariano N. Castañeda, Silang Cavite 4129.

Filing of application for the October 19, 2008 exam started on August 4 until September 19.

Qualified applicants shall be notified through a notice of admission or for applicants who fail to receive such notice within a week before the date of examination, he/she may verify the status of their application at the website at www.pnpa.edu.ph, and www.ppsc.gov.ph for the list of examinees, place of examination and test requirements.

No walk-in applicants will be allowed to take the examination.
