Lain nang injong retreat day RAQ kay kinaraan siguro hehehe. Among retreat hayahay man skedyul... 1 session at 9:30AM for 1 hour, kaon at 12:30pm, nap dayon paghuman til 4:30pm... then session na pod up from 4:30pm to 5:30PM, then panihapon na. Free the the whole evening... maong mabuang ko didto kay way mabuhat til the next day. TV ray naa pero daghan man mi. Our clinical director's message to us: "You are a physician-surgeon in training. Yours is the responsibility of the patient. Yours is the responsibility of patient health and outcome. With that responsibility comes with power and authority. Yours is the power to order the nurse, physical therapist, radiology techs, administrators etc. Be not afraid to make orders. Today was a pseudo-productive day. Despite it being a Saturday, I thought i would get more work done, rather, it was spent on errands and on helping other students. There is a flu going around campus and 5 of my good friends, namely: Job, Albert, Shalabh, Stacy and Thiru are all sick with the flu. Symptoms include productive cough, fever, malaise, nausea and overall lethargy and fatigability. Just listening to their cough there is crackles. I have given them tylenol extra strength to remedy the symptomatic pain. Liquids were given as well. I hope they get better tomorrow.

In my own concern, I took 1000 mg of Ascorbic Acid (Vit C). I fear that the campus will be affected by monday and I hope my immune system stays bolstered to fight off this circulating bug.

The irony of the situation. Medical Students getting Sick.

Then again, we are, afterall, but mere humans. Even Doctors get sick.

Work. Well, at least trying to get some work done.

Last night I had a dinner date with her, lol. Were at the library till 7pm, then had dinner at Sunset Bar and Grill.
