I have a long day today. I volunteered in our Bereavement Committee at the Church. We served food for 70 people at the funeral reception. The lady who died was a member of our choir. Tomorrow's another funeral reception and we are expecting 150 people.

Kamo ra jud akong kasombongan, 2 weeks nako nga gagabas-gabas sa 2 ospital kay ang akong mother in-law, naoperahan kay nabali iyang upper leg (83) sa siya, unya ako tig-atiman sa akong father in-law nga na heart attack days ago (88). Looy kaayo, kay lain man motagad ang mga aleman sailang mga ginikanan, mag tod tod kon kinsa ang mobisita (3 children). We have a very heavy winter at the moment and they are 15 km apart.
They are very good grandparents to my kids, this is a hard reality in this far flung country, menos ka ug masampitan.

Went out for a walk (negative 13 degrees) despite of our very cold weather. Last night, in our region we had negative 17 degrees but still I cleaned the interior window part before hanging new curtains after X'mas holidays. My bana said: am bu**** but at least, the windows are clear now

God bless your heart, Manay Tess. Nakahilak ko oi kay I just visited an old lady in the care home and she badly wanted to come home pero wa man sa iyang mga anak nga willing mo take her in their homes. She said before mag suicide sya so gi up intawon iyang anti-depressant.

I am sure your parents-in-law appreciate what you are doing to them and more so, you pleasing God.

Today?

Today was my 2nd day of class. Class started with Biochemistry, then we had Med Physiology, then we had Neuroanatomy.

Such a long day. More work and reading to go. Pero its nice to see familiar faces and study mates. One thing is obvious; that most of us miss home.

I was at the hospital from 1pm till 3:30 pm today.

I can't stress the importance of staying away from LDL, and VLDL. Focus more on HDL.

There was a pretty cute nurse in the ER today too. Goodness gracious...was she cute.
And I mean..cute. hahaha
