X-Ray at 8am today... unja gitagaan na jud kog ice chip to play with kay sukad pa gahapon wa ko pakan-a for my surgery. 2 more weeks of luquid diet.

Actually, related siya kay according to them, If you have LOVE of GOD and those six other core values, dili gyud ka kapangurakot... True gyud pero kung kana na lang ang topic for the whole 2 day seminar, maka-disappoint gyud kay ang seminar is about Anti-Graft and Corruption.. I expect i-tackle gyud nila ug taman tong mga Republic Acts related to Graft and Corruption.. Sige lang, gibawi man pod sa mga speakers nga very nice, very approachable and very lively kaayo magtalk..

going out for a while. i have to fetch the cat that was spayed by the veterinarian. got to suffer manila's awful traffic again. i wish there's a nearby vet clinic that's a walking distance...

Enjoying my weekend at home -- here in New Jersey. I flew back home on Thursday evening and arrived home Friday morning. It's good to be with family. I cooked for my mom, dad, and my younger brothers. Cooked shrimps, adobo, and sinigang isda. Spending some time with them before flying back to Chicago tomorrow afternoon.

God is so Good.

I'm praying that all of you here, my Tubag Bohol Family, are doing good as well. I'm praying that all of you are in good health, high spirits, and of sound mind this blessed Sunday. I love you all. May God Bless all of you...I ask and pray in Jesus' Name Amen.

The time is 9:29 PM, Central Standard Time (Chicago). I just got back from New Jersey. I left Philadelphia Airport at 5:45 PM and arrived in Chicago at 7:05 PM. It's pouring outside, a total change in weather compared to the sunny weather in New Jersey earlier in the morning.

He he, when I was at home this weekend, I told my dad that we talk on a regular basis and that your papa was "inspecting the roads" ha ha. Katawa pod si dad and he said to me that your dad was the district engineer kono sa unang panahon.

Ingon pod ko, "Oh, dad, you knew Father Lungay's dad diay?"

Ingon pod si dad, "Your grandfather was good friends with his father." he he he!

Anyways, he told me to tell you kono, "Kummusta Roel!"

Paggawas nako bangko karong hapon, nahibulong ko unsa'y gitapok-an sa mga tawo tunga-tunga sa dalan, di-ay there was a fully naked woman lying on the street. I thought nabanggaan pero pagkakita nako sa nawong, I saw a familiar face ahh,... mao ning babayeha nga nabuang tungod way kaon.. i helped her once, buhi pa iyang lola ato nga time, manglimos pa sila sa dalan, then months later, i saw them again and this time, buntis na ang girl (gi raped guro sa mga adik) Now, I saw her again, alone and naked, she got up and continue walking... I want to help her again so I was thinking of buying her ukay ukay clothes pero naunhan ko sa tindera sa ukay-ukayan kay ni offer siya.. but she was totally ignored by this woman.. she continued walking (i was walking behind her about 5 meters away kay lagi mopalit ko ug call card) i want to know what she's thinking while people were laughing at her seeing her naked, children teases her..i want to know, unsa iyang gihunahuna...... then i saw her going to church pero sa gate pa lang daan, gisita na siya sa caretaker...nibalik siya sa iyang agi ug nipasilong, naglingkod sa usa ka waiting shed nga tapad ra pod sa simbahan...samtang ako, nisakay na ug pedicab pabalik sa opis...

fine i guess, thanks. at least i came back home in one piece. the usual terrible road trip in manila, you know; got stuck in a traffic jam for awhile. and there was some rain.

frisky the cat is a pity. she'll be on antibiotics for 10 days. imagine grappling with her twice daily just to make her swallow the medicine and keep her from licking her surgical wound. she's doing fine, fortunately.

what a gripping story, lolla. from the looks of it, it was grief and hunger that did her in. pagkalooy intawon. barato ra ra ba unta ang tambal aning nalisoan tungod sa pasmo. hinaot unta nga masikop na siya sa dswd aron di na hilabtan ug di na madisgrasya. we can only pray and wish her well.

I just got back from driving around to drop off some material at the clinic. Stopped by Subway to have lunch. Now back doing paper work and prepping for the evening material.

To Father Roel, do take care and safe save over there. I'll be praying for you.

To Isles, its good to know that you're doing good there in Manila. God bless your kind heart, Isles, you're kindness to the animals reminds me of the life of St. Francis of Assisi.
