I just came back from work and lo and behold it was raining as i was walking back from my car to my apartment. Na unsa man ning weather diri sa Chicago oy! First it is cold, then it is warm, then it is cold again, now it is raining!

Am now reviewing notes and organizing my upcoming paper. I am now brewing coffee to help me stay up tonight. I think it will be another long night of studying for me. Later on, I will have to brew Colombian coffee. It's gonna be a long night of reviews for me.

Today at work, I talked to an older RN in the floor and asked how she was doing. I call this particular RN a "Tita" because she tries to help me in the floor and always makes good conversation. Today, I asked her how she was doing and she always says, "Okay lang gehapon, Doy, Datung Pobre."

This particular nurse is from Bohol.

So in response to her response ingon pod ko, "Ah, ka dato-a nimo, Tita, uy! Kai datuhang pobre man. Ako , pobreng pobre lang gehapon".

Ning katawa gajod mi duha. Ning bahakhak sija gajod. As in. LOL.

The MD who I was rotating with said to me, "Doc, what are you saying to make these nurses laugh so hard?"

Ingon lang ko, "AWWW, you wouldn't understand....its a Filipino thing!"

He kept on saying, "Try me! Try me!"

Crazy laughs gajod. Ah, it kept the night funny at least. Made me laugh so hard ning hilak ko.

feeling bad because i missed sunday mass today. i also missed the anticipated mass yesterday. naluya ko sa akong ubo mahadlok ko mogawas. grabe manila. 36 degrees centigrade with enough humidity to make one feel like the world is a finnish bath. hasta airconditioner, pildi.

Today I attended a meeting from 4 pm till 6 pm to discuss clinical cases, we had to get dressed up to present medical cases to fellow M.Ds. I presented cases revolving neurological disorders. I really don't know why they wanted us to dress up in suits. I would've preferred wearing scrubs and a white coat.
