There's tuna kinilaw, lechon baboy, lechon manok, sinugbang bangus, hamonada, spaghetti, garlic fried chicken... but, I only had tuna kinilaw, sinugbang bangus then fruits.. a little bit of cake also... the rest, bawal na nga foods nako

today, my lunch my favorite cheeseburger and fries... naulahi lang ang abot ang cheeseburger...

ang ingon sa doktor, bawas / iwas kaon ug pork okay? pati chicken, peanuts, chocolate, seafoods, pineapple, mango and any other foods nga makacause ug allergies... nalutas ko ug ahat ay... pero okay ra, from 82kg down to 76kg nako ron..

the food in the hospital where i'm at is "okay" ra.

most other doctors go out to the fancy restaurants in the city, pero, i don't like to spend too much kai unsaon man....di man pod ko datuhon. just still a struggling intern.

living modestly lang pod ta ba. living within one's means.

Today , my lady friend, Pim, cooked Thai tom yom salmon soup. She also cooked for me beef soup (to be honest, i forgot the name, but it was spicy!). Ingon siya nako that she wanted to see me eat her food, so, ning adto pod ko. Man it was delicious

Cute pod kai she prepared thai fried rice.

Thanks God for good friends like Pim. Made me smile pod kai she even bought me orange juice for my cold.

thanks, lorenz.  drat, we don't have milk at the moment.  i've avoided dairy products since my sister's big C.  i read somewhere, more than once, that cancer cells feed on dairy products.  (time was when i can't imagine not having any cheese, even if it smells of worns socks.)  what do you think of this?

inconclusive na tita. some reports say that milk helps with prostate cancer, some say it exacerbates breast cancer etc. wa zamo'y quantitative tests / results pa. so these rumors are unproven. milk (and all dairy products) are a great source of calcium, which is necessary for maintaining one's nutritional intake. one has to maintain a balanced diet, this includes calcium.

cancer patients are not deprived of dairy products.

if you don't have milk, take some peptobismal or tums.

i see.  moderation then is still the way to go.  sorry, i don't know peptobismal and tums.  they seem like names of circus clowns, hihihi.
