The Meaning of Easter for Me
« on: May 06, 2011, 01:31:43 AM »
Easter is always a powerfully reticent moment for me, a time for reflection and a time for forgiveness: for my actions and for the buried hostility of others. There is symbolism in Christ's sacrifice, sufferings and death on the Cross. It should be a model for us and for me. I see that life sufferings and life's tribulations bring nothing but death, but there is life everlasting in Christ. The Lord's resurrection on Easter reminds us that we can always start a new, and most importantly, we should live a life dead to sin (try our hardest) and to live a life in Christ (tho this is not easy, given our humanity).

This begins another Liturgical Year and I cant wait for Christ's Coming again during the coming of Christmas when we celebrate His Coming and Birth.
