Relating this nursery rhyme to the Marcoses, it would seem now that they couldn't sweep the broken egg shells away because not one of them has been placed behind bars.

We have a lot too many in our country who have secret ambitions to be like the "Strong Man." A few, with the power they yield, have started to exhibit the Strong Man (or woman) tendency. There are also those who tried but their actions are too pitiful to be appreciated.

The Jack n Jill nursery rhyme is actually a horrific tale to scare children not to look for things where they are normally not there (like a water well on top of a hill) otherwise you could lose your head (break one's crown), and those who follow could share the same fate (and Jill came tumbling after)!
