Dear friends,

In light of the coming Christmas Season (and yours truly is feeling the Christmas Spirit in the air...), I thought it appropriate to start a Christmas Thread, which will be used to express thoughts, feelings, wishes, and anything in relation to the coming Christmas Season!

It is my greatest wish that all of you, friends and colleague, enjoy a warm and Blessed Christmas Season (the buildup, to the Christmas Day itself) and that all your dreams and aspirations are achieved this Blessed Christmas Season.

A good friend of mine (a major seminarian) once told me, "Let's not forget the Reason for the Season of Christ-Mas".

The day i left for chicago after thanksgiving season, my brothers and mother were decorating our house with Christmas lights. I so wanted to stay, if only i could. So another 23 more days until Christmas Day.

I am excited.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!

As I walked home from a brief stop to the bank, then to target, the Christmas Season has filled the air here in the City of Chicago!
When I drive, the radio stations are playing Christmas Songs, and what really made my day was when I was coming back from the bank, I saw a group of college kids dressed in Santa Claus attire. Epic!

There is something sweet in knowing that Christmas is on the way. Tho I cannot be home for Christmas, I am going to spend it with friends and celebrate Christmas Eve Mass and Christmas Morning Mass.

The moral of the story is that life is filled with unexpected hurdles. But in the end, the priority is and will always be-- GOD First, everything else second.
