Dear Friends,

Our Medical School will be holding our annual Health Care tomorrow on Sunday, November 29, 2009.
There will be 5 stations, and about 50 some medical students partaking in the event, as well as 15 attending physicians.
We are estimating to host about 600-1000 patients for tomorrow's event.
We will be doing everything: vitals assessment, glucose treatment, diabetic foot care, dental assessment, neurological examination, urinalysis, blood analysis, basic surgical procedures, as well as providing physicals etc.

I ask that all of you put a special prayer for all of us, all 50 medical students including myself, and our attending physicians, that we will be able to care for enough patients, that all will be assessed, that our medical equipment and supplies will be enough to target the entire patient base, that our food resources will last, that there will be no problems, that the health of the patients will be increased through this program. That everything runs smoothly through God's Perfect Guidance and Blessings.

Please pray for us, friends, I would truly appreciate it.

I shall post pictures of the event, after. I promise you that.

A Prayer~

Father, make of me a crisis man. Bring those I contact to decision. Let me not be a milepost on a single road; make me a fork, that men must turn one way or another on facing Christ in me.

Teach us, good Lord, to serve Thee as Thou deservest: To give and not to count the cost; To fight and not to heed the wounds; To toil and not to seek for rest; To labour and not ask for any reward, save that of knowing that we do Thy will.

Prayer for Strength For Tomorrow~~

Lord, I am no longer my own, but Yours. Put me to what You will, rank me with whom You will. Let be employed by You or laid aside for You, exalted for You or brought low by You. Let me have all things, let me have nothing, I freely and heartily yield all things to Your pleasure and disposal. And now, O glorious and blessed God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, You are mine and I am Yours. So be it.

Give me a stout heart to bear my own burdens. Give me a willing heart to bear the burdens of others. Give me a believing heart to cast all burdens upon Thee, O Lord.

I beg in Jesus' Name.

It is 2:24 AM right now,

Literally 5 some hours until our medical fair begins. I am excited, I just went over with some colleagues to review them on vitals check, and techniques. The goal for tomorrow is to be professional, and direct.

Lord, guide my hand and my eyes, and my sensation to the patient. Give me a calm soul to be able to sleep tonight and an able body to perform to the best of my ability tomorrow during the Medical Fair.

Lord, allow my group to perform to our expectations and more. Allow us to treat as many patients as possible and to screen them properly for further specialized referrals. Lord, this I ask in Jesus' Name.
