Yes. I have an electric typewriter that I purchased when I was in high school. It was on sale in CVS for $49.99 at the time. It now sits in my desk back home in New Jersey. Waiting for my next return to use it again.... :)

My younger brothers joked at me one time saying, "Kuya Bran, why do you have this box for? Its useless." I told them, "Don't you know that this is how teenagers used to write with to do home work papers before the age of the computer!?"

moling.  ang manual typwriter maoy training nako ug touch system.  wa nako makalimti hangtod karon.  i can use the computer keyboard without looking at the alphabet and numeral keys, thanks to the manual typewriter, beeeh!  :P

second the motion. i took typing as Practical Arts in 3rd yr high school. makat-on gyud ka lalim ba type atong karaang typewriter nga gahi kaayo pinduton.

lingaw ko tan-aw ako mga colleagues karon mag-type sa computer kay ang 2 ka index fingers lay gamiton. paspas man pud nuon.

na-train ko nga paspas mo type pinaagi sa typewriter. all the keys of the typewriter were covered with black masking tape. we were forced to memorize the keys and we were reprimanded if we used one or two fingers only. tungod sa kaestrikto sa among maestro, nakakat-on ko nga motype nga all fingers gyud with considerable speed.
