I'm so angry right now. I wish to unleash it here. Here comes Western Union again, the troublemaker.
First, they gave me trouble by not accepting my name Mike because they want Michael. So I asked one of our friends here to restructure my name so I could received the needed amount for my father in the hospital here in Velez Cebu.
Today I run out of funds for my father's medicine and another friend in the U.S. sent funds through Western Union. So it's a big relief when you run out of provision and help from the Lord arrives just in time.
This Western Union outlet at M. Lhuiller in front of Velez Hospital has accepted my student ID in Thailand for two times already. Those two other staffs had honored my I.D.
Now I'm claiming another fund using the same I.D. but another woman, another staff told me that she would not accept my student I.D. in Thailand.
"But Miss, I have been using this I.D. here for two times already. This is my third time that I claimed money in this outlet using that I.D. Why won't you honor it?" I said in English. I don't speak Bisaya when I'm already angry.
Without valid reasons she just thrashed my I.D., pointing the color and any markings in the I.D. as reasons for invalidation.
I told her that I even signed up a customer information sheet with their pawnshop/Western Union outlet, had my left and right thumb marks archived, my I.D. details and everything, including three specimens of my signature.
"Miss, my father is in the hospital and I need this money to buy for his medicine," I was already pleading. "I have been using this I.D. here for two times," I said again. "My Philippine I.D. (an SSS I.D.) is in the blood bank." RBCC here in Cebu won't release my SSS I.D. for 22 days after I replaced the blood I bought from them.
"Dili ni madawat imong ID," she told me point blank.
I am no saint. My blood finally shoots up. I have been sleepless, stressed out, drained out, troubled, tired, with all the discomfort mentally, emotionally, and physically.
"P-u-t-a-ng i-n-a!" I exclaimed. "Ambi na akong I.D. beh," I said and I punched the M. Lhuiller pawnshop window. Yes, I did it with moderate force. I already lost my composure. And I left the place and went to an Internet Cafe and logged in to Tubag Bohol.
