Pare,
My sister trekked all over Greece: including Athens, Thesoloniki, Thassos, Lesbos as well as present day Sparta and Thebes. She has so much more pictures lol.
What was interesting is that a mutual friend of ours, who studied in Allegheny College (my alma mater and my sister's soon-to-be alma mater; both of my sister and I are/were Allegheny College Trustees Scholars-Honors Scholars in Allegheny) owns a family farm in the island of Lesbos. And his family gave the collegiate contingent a tour around the family farm, exchanged rather interesting stories etc.
I can't recount all the experiences my younger sister had in Greece, but I can tell you that I was sucked into the descriptions. It was too amazing. We thank our father for such a priviledge and supporting us in college and in our study-abroad exchange programs. My father believes in global exchange; as he himself, back in the 1970s was part of the All-Filipino Boy Scout Jamboree to Japan.
Global exchange, and Worldly-Encouters--mao na iyang gi instill namo.
Pare, perhaps we can meet up in Spain someday.
Barcelona, Madrid, Burgos, Castille are just some areas that I'd love to visit.
