I read this book a while ago,
Its amazing how Gould juxtaposes his positions, his ability to start from one direction and end in another makes his works appeasing. Good work for appeasing the pro-evolutionists, however.

I let my gf read a great book:

"Surgeons Don't Cry" which was given to me by a great friend.

The effect: My gf loved it and is inspired by Dr. Ting Tiongco.

So far, 4 Pinoy-American medical students have read it. My friend Job, Albert, my gf and I.

Very inspiring work. Beautiful. Simply beautiful.

Thank you for sharing it with us Ate Ging.

That book was the topic of our many wine bar conversations with my colleagues.
Its amazing how that book made allowed us to transition our conversations to medical system and the current medical situation in the country, the brain drain from abroad and the ramifications of these processes.

Thank You.

Really, Hubs?  Pirte nako'ng pangukay sa akong collection of old books!  Naa koy copy ani.

I like this book kay niadtong bata pa mi naay cartoons nga Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. And the only memory I have about the show is akadtong gibuno si Tom Sawyer ug kinan-an nga mansanas ni Huck.

Right Now, I'm reading: MEDICAL INTERNAL MEDICINE--The Student's Guide.

Its amazing how one can learn to love a text book. LOL!

~~~
@ Brother Vince, Tom Sawyer is a great book. If you're done that, I highly recommend you read: "Outlaws of the Marsh". It's an old Chinese fiction series~ that shares the same plot of travel and adventure as your current reading. However, the former puts an excellent emphasis on Confucian culture. You will love it.
Check it out. "The Outlaws of the Marsh."
Lisod lang gamay basahon ang Huck Finn kay gigamit man gud ni Mark Twain ang actual vernacular sa Mississippi area before the Civil War, pero seguro ko nga magustohan nimo ning libroha.
Vita Brevis : A Letter to St. Augustine, by Jostein Gaarder
Very intriguing book.
Murag naa ko ana diri nga libro Vince.Ug naa koy lugar ako tong koykoyon ug basa.
Akong gibasa karon wa pa mahuman kay License to Steal. This books is all about american gypsies nga daghan modus operandi aron makapangawat ug makapangilad. Mga con men ni sila diri sa America. Interesting kaayo kay like the Irish Traveler(grupo sa gypsies) ilang trabaho mang paint ug balay,barn ultimo kami nabiktima ani nila hahahha kay makatuo jud ka sa ilang story. Ilang Modus operandi is nagpuyo ni sila sa usa ka town unya ana nga town pareho tanan ug ngan.Ex. John Carrol ug mo file ka ug complain ani nila di ma trace sa police kay inig adto didto naa may 20 kabuok ngan john carrol. This is very interesting book to read labi ning mga parrot card reader mga gypsies na sila.
Nashock ko Bay Hubs sa ahong nabasa knowing the other person involved is a beloved and father figure of the church.
Pero nakasabot ko sa duha ka side, si Saint Augustine of Hippo gusto mahimong tul-id ang ijahang dalan (he and his son from Florida were both baptized Christian).
Si Florida pud, wa makadawat nga gipadaplin ni Saint Augustine. Pero we can never really confirm if she is the mistress of Saint Augustine since she was not named in the former's Confessions. Besides, wa puy makaconfirm sa authenticity sa scrolls of Florida.
Giganahan ko sa libro.
