By Anonymous JULIA ROBERTS AND MOTHER TERESA AND BRAD PITT: PRETTINESS AND BEAUTY
In numerous aspects, Julia Roberts and Mother Teresa of Calcutta are different. Combine the two, you'll have Brad Pitt.
One very obvious as shown in the famous film with Richard Gere, Julia is pretty. She’s not the lead role in “Pretty Woman” if she’s not.
While still alive, Mother Teresa was called the Living Saint. It was she who said, “Love until it hurts.”
Prettiness is in the face, beauty shines from the heart.
There are numerous women with pretty faces that graced commercials. Their smiles are adorable, their lips kissable. There are some beautiful persons who have touched other people’s lives. They provided rays of hope, and the proverbial silver lining.
It is hoped you’ll understand why I used numerous for pretty and some for beautiful.
A woman who has a pretty face but does not have the beauty of concerned for others, the beauty of kindness, and the beauty of Christian love is just a caricature. Like a painting, it is just for display. Prettiness is for the gallery, beauty for the world, in all its breathe and width. A pretty face becomes wrinkled and sagged. A beautiful one is like an everlasting bloom of a Stargazer, a choice of heaven.
Pretty means to be attractive in a delicate way without being truly beautiful. Beautiful means to be pleasing the senses or mind aesthetically. The words pretty and beautiful can be used in similar contexts, but pretty often applies to superficial or insubstantial attractiveness.
John Clayton Mayer is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist, said: “If you’re pretty, you’re pretty; but the only way to become beautiful is to be loving. Otherwise, it is just “congratulations about your face.”
Mayer who turned 45 last month, October, reportedly met Jennifer Aniston at an Oscars after-party in 2008, and things kicked off pretty fast between them. They dated for about one year, before eventually going their separate ways in 2009.
Years before Mayer, Jennifer had Brad Pitt, a pretty man. He founded The Make It Right Foundation, a non-profit foundation in 2007. The foundation was established to aid in the environmentally friendly rebuilding of houses in New Orleans' Lower 9th Ward after Hurricane Katrina. This makes the American actor both pretty and beautiful man.
Not all pretty faces and beautiful persons are women. Many men, real masculine species, too.
