In what age should people stop possessing ambitions?
Impossible.
Higher thought and creativity is part of the job of the right side of the cerebellar cortex and part of the cerebral aspect. Whereas the left region is primarily based on logical reason and cognition.
So long as the right-side of the cereberealla aqueduct and processes are funcitiong and not impeded by the cerebral or cerebellar ischemia or a neuro embolus, then there will be no hindrance to the creativity, thus translating in the human sense of 'continued ambition'.
Ambition is nothing but a human realization of a dream/creativity. The yearning to complete a physical, mental goal. Intrinsic to that, neuroanatomically speaking, is creativity. Inhibit creativity, and you inhibit ambition.
lol,
Your question is very vague
and interesting because it spans and is an important topic in Medical Psychiatry.
