Don't ever settle for a man who has the propensity on cheating and lying. It's unfair to you, Jenneth. You see, giving in and forgiving is fine, however, if that same individual makes it a habit of lying, cheating, and hurting you then that becomes an emotional strain.

Jenneth, kining laki, he is not married to you yet, so, technically you are still considered single. If he cheated on you while you were only dating him, imagine what he would do if you were married to him? Hmmmm?

It all boils down to the simple concept of respect. If this man, who you dated for almost 6 years -- and I'm no way trying to mitigate your love for this man -- merely trying to point out a different perspective from the outside. If this man had any respect for you, he wouldn't have cheated on you in the first place -- nor have risked putting you in a state of emotional turmoil.

At this point, my dear friend, it is best to cut your losses and just excise this piece of shitt lalake and find someone else worthy and better. You can do better, and you deserve someone better who will treat you like the princess and lady that you are. Period.

I have a very good friend here who is a victim of a cheating bf. They were engaged and have dated for almost 7 years. One month before their wedding, her fiance went back to Russia to visit relatives (he is Russian; she is Pinay) and while he was there, he slept with 6 women. He told her (my very good friend) about his activities there and put her into a deep depression.

She regained her strength and severed all contacts with this guy. Their engagement was cancelled and their wedding was cancelled.

She returned the ring he bought her, and hasn't contacted him in almost 3 years. The Russian ended up marrying one of the women who he slept with in Russia after she found out she was pregnant with his kid.

My friend , who is a doctor, ended up meeting another guy -- another pinoy doc at work. They're both married now and I can say that she is lucky to be with a man who knows how to treat a woman.

It's funny because the xfiance tries desperately to try to contact her once and a while. He will live out his miserable existence knowing that he lost the love of his life -- all for a regrettable experience in Russia.

He lost a 7 year relationship for a sex session with 6 women in Russia. Sayang na sayang.

I had a relationship with a woman several years ago who was very keen on using emotional blackmail with me. When I was a 1st year medical student, she was very controlling with me and tried to put me down on a regular basis. Considering my giving nature, I allowed this to occur for some time , however, the continual fights and the emotional strain was too much. It wasn't healthy anymore.

So I ended it with her. The lesson I learned from that relationship is this -- never stay with someone who continually puts you down -- or takes part in actions that punishes your soul. There are, truly, people out there that will love you for who you are and accept you. Try not to limit yourself with people who hurt you. Learn from my experience.
