Yesterday I went to the Immigration Office of Thailand, about 70 kms from where I live. My student visa will expire on June 10, 2007. So the visa had to be renewed.

When I got my visa back, I was told by our student affairs office head that the Immigration official made a mistake on my passport. There it was. The extension date was June 10, 2007. The same year? It should be June 10, 2008. Thank God he noticed it.

This is a simple mistake but it gave me a journalistic lesson: "Always double check."

Like when you post new topics or make comments in Tubag Bohol, it would be nice if you could double check or review what you have written before you hit "Post" or "Save."
