One dish that I really miss eating was when I was in Iloilo City. It is called 'Laswa'.

Adobong Nokos or in Iloilo it is called 'Adobong Lokos'. When I was there I spoke to the restaurateur in Cebuano. When I saw this, I said to him in a rather retained Bol-anon Accent, "Gusto ko ana! kadtong adobong nokos ayaw kalimti ang kanonon ha? Sige, salamat."

The old man smiled and said, "Ay han! Cebuano gid!"

I smiled back, "Dili Cebuano, manong! BOL-ANON JYUD"

:)

Katawa mi duha.

This was always prepared when I was in Bohol at my family home in Tagbilaran. Everyday, I would go to Manga Fish Market and buy these (Lato) so it can be prepared for dinner. I can't find Lato here in the United States.
