On August 15, 2007, Bambi registered with Tubag Bohol. Two days later she posted a message asking for help to locate a best friend whom she had lost contact since 1992. That was Bambi's first ever post from Germany.

Today, Bambi's search is over. This can be one of the milestones of Tubag Bohol.

In the meantime, let me give the floor to Bambi. She will narrate the whole story, hopefully...

Hi Mike,

How's your day? Mine is almost over.........in 2 hours must have to drive to work (nightshift).

Well, so far we had a phone chat twice, but as usual ladies bla...bla.....bla....we talked first our old kauyaban sa una Doy. Anyway, she plans to come over here in Germany next year. Perhaps, i will be there earlier to visit her in Montclai, Calif. She has three grown-ups children and I think it is a double hard task unlike me, I get more free time.

We could be together to fly for a visit....what you think? you can visit your girlfriend there in US too. Next xear?

Where you have this ginamos? Is this a part of a diet? It is good....you will be thirsty and then you must have to drink 2 to 3 liters of water for it.

If i preto buwad, my husband said, it is divorce grounds.

That is true. I received a buwad danggit from my MaMa handcarried by a Filipina, hangkang lipaya prito dayon, sakto pod pag-abot sa akong bana nga bisan ug gi-unsa na naho ug spray ug perfume, lighted candles, opened the windows....namilit gjod ang baho. Eversince that time, I let the buwad kept by a friend and I must have to drive 65 kilometers to have it fried there, sayang lang, the Cebuana live now for good sa ato and her sister who was left here suddenly died last Nov.2006. So, had not eaten those for a almost one year na.

ha..ha.ha.. kabalo ko kay mga pinay sab dire bahoan ila mga bana mao panagsa ra sila kaprito kon wala mga bana. Swerte gyod ko day kay ako bana moapil pa gani ug kaon sa bulad nokos. mag ilog mi usahay labi na gamay ra.

I will be meeting this found best girlfriend this coming March 9, 2009. The last time we've met that was January 1985 when we bade goodbye in MIA. That was during my first home visit after 6 years of stay in Germany.

I owe to Mike my heartfelt thanks. Through his innermost efforts, we've been now again in contact. Mike is a real TB Hero.

Here we are in the year l979 (UB College days). Me and my best/beautiful girlfriend. I was 23 years old and connected at PFO and she was young at her 19th. Sorry. gikutkot nas agop-op ahong tuhod sa kada-an.

There she is in the year l985, this photo which she gave me during my first home vacation with my son. She is a very beautiful lady, she has a beauty and body "ala Sophia Loren"!

This picture was taken during my first vacation Dec- 1984- Jan-. 1985 (the last year we've meet) together with my almost 3 years old son and my younger sister.

And this coming 9th of March 2009........? Hope mo-arang pami sa kamera tawon $:-\$

By the way, those pictures are old but our hearts remains "young" pa ug ginagmay. Her last letter was in the year 1991 before my Father's death. Then we lost our contacts, I've been looking for her whereabouts since that year. Mike had answered my plea!
