A Chinese proverb on 'Contentment'
« on: October 28, 2013, 05:00:55 AM »

Translation:

"Fundamentally, life is but a process, long, or short. That's it. We never own and will not own anything. The so-called 'owning' is an illusion and manifestation of your mind of attachment, which is caused by a sense of uncertainty in your inner heart. If we take this illusion as the ultimate goal of life, then we will miss happiness forever. Inner tranquility will be blooming simply while you live at very present moment, and enjoy everything you are 'owning' transiently right here and right now--this should be the very source of our happiness. "

It validates the words of Ecclesiastes 5:15, which states:

A man is born naked.
He comes into the world with nothing.
And he goes out of it with nothing.
He doesn’t get anything from his work
that he can take with him.
