A consistent man believes in destiny... a capricious man in chance...

But what about if you take chances, take every opportunity that comes along the way? Would you still be called capricious?

a man who takes every opportunity is a determined person, manifestation of consistency.  a man who always takes chances without conviction is capricious...

hmmmm...agree with ths one.

when we are convinced that one day what we believe and aspire will come to reality and we work each day with every opportunity to reach that goal, then you are not capricious....

i choose chance.. it always comes once in a lifetime..

I think destiny is a matter of chance that you choose to take the chance.

Which is better for you, phrase 1 or 2:

1. I did everything, but this is my destiny.

2. I've done my best, but I got no chance.

bitaw , for me, you can always train your eyes towards the future--my destiny. but in the day to day adventure and encounter, i have to live my life in the multiple choices i make, with lot of risks or ups and downs--my chances. what might gonna happen to me if i have only ONE chance? probably i won't be here.

Bitaw, we can only plan so much for what we want to happen in our lives but ultimately it is God who leads us to our destiny. Of course we have to work hard to aspire something, we take risks and if we fall and stumble, we get up and keep going and take another chance.  We are what we are now because we didn't let failure as an option because we always couple our hard work with our faith in the Lord, our God.   

amen, graze. and for a believer, there's always that element of trust to set his/her eyes towards destiny. trust in Someone other than his/her own self.
