Thank you, and I hope that your Christmas went well~

For me, Christmas is fulfilled in uniting with my family and the spirit of Christmas was observed. In celebrating the birth of Christ our Lord, and also sharing love with my family. To me, that means more than presents and the lot.

To hear the laughter and voice of my Mother, Father, and my siblings and to be with them in such a joyous event--the celebration of the birth of Christ--is what sustains me.

Nice family Dong. You are really a big brother and we will wish you all the best for the coming year 2009.

I am my father's Junior, Tito Lindy.
Natural lang that I am a protective and watchful Kuya for them.
My family is my Life.

By the way, what's that yummy-looking purple thing in the middle of your dinner table? 

Christmas eve was spent with family.  Our sister from LA drove all the way to be with us.  We were singing and dancing and of course, eating and I mean eating a lot!

haha mao lagi, 'te. Na dako na jud sila duha. Si Andre hapit na siya mo taas ni Angel. Si Don na taas na pood siya kai hapit na siya maka hit my height. Mo wear na galing siya sa ahong mga t-shirts, lol. When I got back home on the 21st, most of my shorts and shirts were already in his room, haha. Ingoon siya, "Your old stuff is my new stuff' kono. Na..jati pood, ning palit nalang ko ug new shirts kai gi kuha man nija ahong mga golf shirts hahaha. Kaluuy pood intawn ni Don-Don kai na daku na sija.

Mao lagi ... ning daku na jud kaning mga bata-a...dili na galing ko maka pick them but up together. Sa una, I could lift Don with my back and carry Andre with one arm. Karon..dili na jud puydi.

They both have surpassed their Kuya Bran.

I was most happy during the Christmas party for the Feed The Needy Program of our church where I volunteer.


We served over 150 people. 





After we served them hot Christmas dinner, we gave out gifts to young and old alike.

Hahahha nalipay ko gabasa, Dong!  Don is now a big man and if I am not mistaken, he will be taller than you na pohon!  Yes, Dodong Don can have his Kuya Bran's "hand-me-downs". lol

Unsa lagi nang purple delicacy on your dining table ba!  It's making me hungry ra ba! hahaha

haha its Mommy's Ube Cake. That thing is my Dad's favorite. Mom made Ube and Cassava Cake and many more. Good with coffee, lagi.

Dong, ube cake in a gelatin mold or is it?  Wow!  Please ingna imong Mom mangayo ko'g recipe for that Ube Cake, Dong!  That looks so yummy jud!

haha, I'll ask her for the recipe, 'te. Lami bitaw..she also makes the one which is like white gelatin and has corn and the like inside it. Tastes so darn good, too. I forget the name tho.

hahaha is it maja blanca, dong?  yeah, she must be using the same mold as she was using in this ube cake you had for christmas.   i have two of this molds by tupperware! lol

hahaha! i salute the Filipina woman and her cooking abilities. I mean it when I say this: Nothing can compare to Mother's cooking. haha~
