I must let this out in here.

For the past 3 weeks now I've hidden this secret.

There is a woman, a secretary to be exact, that works in the office where I do my summer internship. But dangggggg, I must admit that this boo is hot hot hot hot hot! hahaha.

When I talk to her I have to struggle to retain my formalities to prevent me uttering phrases that would be unbecoming of me. LOL.

But yea, had to vent it out in here.

Even my friend Michelle thinks that I act 'strange' when we're talking to this secretary during breaks.
How do women read our body language? And what does this term 'acting strange' mean? I would really like to know jud so I can remedy it as to prevent my over-acquiescing to natural inhibition.

:P :P

I think you're in-love with her Dong Lorens. If you like her, why don't you try to ask her out? But wait, do you think she's taken already? If not, then go for it! Would that be easy?

Dong, one way to solve this problem is to cure your infatuation with her. Mangita ta'g paagi nga dili naka ma attract niya. How about the next time you see her, you picture what she'd look like in 30 years, 100 lbs overweight, with liver spots and missing teeth.

hehehe joke joke joke

Seriously, I wish I could help you with this. But I am as clueless as you are.

Haha! Ako may nakapahungaw sa akong kamingaw ning imong suggestion, Thyl. I look at my wife 17 years since we met each other and 17 kg later, she still looks as splendid to me. She's actually more cuddlesome.

I serve at the Feed the Needy. Most of the people we serve are nice and appreciative but of 90 people, there's just about 10 who do not even care to say thank you and sometimes they are even demanding.

Excited lang Dong Lorens....hehehehe...I like reading or watching movies of love stories. Also, knowing friends how they met and fell in-love and stuff. It's a nice feeling like nakakakilig to the bones! ;D In short, I like happy stories and I DON'T like watching sad or any violent movies because it's depressing.

In less than 24 hours, I have to:

Finish painting my room
Move all the furniture back in my room
Clean two rooms
Solve a couple problems from my Chemistry book
and find time to eat.

 :'(

...and I just woke up from a looong nap. Now I'm going to finish painting.

Last week, when I was at orientation week, I really was turned off by one individual who was very boisterous in the hospital where we where introduced at.

There was one attending physician who was in the floor where we, MD1 students, were shown around. Since we, as MD1 students, will be expected to attend the hospital and volunteer at least 1 day a week; in the weekday or weekend.

The physician in question was in the background talking to one of the nurses as our medical director, The Dean of Basic Sciences, was explaining the setting, our basic responsibilities etc. This particular attending physician was being rude to  some of us MD1 students and to the nurses.

I wanted to just admonish him for his arrogant tone. Just because he has his Medical Doctorate does not mean he can talk down to others, especially if those are students. I had to restrain myself in addressing this individual; perhaps he was abused when he was an MD1 student.

Whether a person has a 'Dr' in front of their name does not make them any higher than a person with a mere Mr. or Mrs or Ms in front of their name.

It feels so good just to let it out.

I feel like so stressed. Anatomy is like an never-ending barrage of information that must be digested and regurgitated. Embryology is alot of information, i admit, but I actually like it. Ah the shear volume of information that we medical students must stuff in our brains.

Sometimes I find myself studying for 7 hours straight; with intermittent breaks. Lord, please allow my mind to digest all the information and reiterate it in study sessions.

It is so much information, so much more than undergraduate college demanded.

Tomorrow, hopefully my study mates will be able to supplement each other in questions and answers.

Inday,

Hope and pray that all will be fine; you are in my prayers--stay confident in yourself and in your abilities as well as stay competitive with your fellows. In times of stress, just give it all to Christ, who will help you with a clearer mind and stronger conviction in studies. In times of doubt and perplexities, invigorate your faith and your self confidence. And you will do well and More.

You will do well this semester. Keep up the good work!

Always,

I took Honors Anatomy in high school and I know the gist of how much information you have to continuously spit out each day/week. The muscular system was somewhat bearable, but remembering the names of almost every single bone/muscle was one of the toughest parts of the class. (By the way-- I did get my Chemistry class and am truly blessed to have our prayers heard.) I pray that you are given the guidance and strength by God to keep going in your studies. My mom finds it comforting to read the Bible at times when she is stressed, sad, or when she just needs a good read.

Praise the Lord that all your classes were met! My advice to you in times like that, Inday, is to always maintain a positive outlook on things even if the situation isn't looking good. Because when it comes down to it; it really doesn't help in being pessimistic diba? It only will bring your mood down and lower your spirits. Just a personal advice from me to you.

Thank you for thinking of me :) haha, you know today wasn't too bad. Our study group is starting to increase its pace in reviews as well as getting on the ball on things.

May the Lord Jesus Christ continue to be our Light.

Good luck this week!

It rained over here today. As I was walking back to my apartment. Normally I would have been adamant about not walking in the dark, but the sun was so beautiful today. And the sunset was simply glorious.

Lord, thank you for the rain. As it reminded me of my younger days when I used to live in Valencia and Tagbilaran. I used to run around in the rain with my cousins and fellow little kids.

Hehe. Beautiful memories.

I went to sleep at 4AM today because I was completing a lab report and because I literally couldn't sleep.  :-[ I have a Chemistry quiz today (hopefully I'll actually do well on this) and a big Chemistry exam on Thursday. I am praying and hoping that I do well, because tests aren't my strongest points unlike quizzes and labs (which I do very well on).

'day, we were awake together then. lol. I was awake till 5 am today as I was finishing my reviews for Anatomy. We had our 2nd Exams for Medical Gross Anatomy today as well as our exams for Medical Legal Ethics.

Both of us will do well. Keep up your studies, and accelerate your conviction. All is possible.

Good Luck on your Exams! I believe in you.

I realize something, that the more I grow older, the more of a perfectionist I get.
