Many business or rich folks are said to have been successful with "laway lang puhunan." If that is the case this 150k would surely be a big difference. Some of the good business to handle today is:
1. the buy and sell of farm produce like banana, eggplants, butung, root crops and other agri products. With the 150k, you can set aside 100k to buy a multicab and the 50k as working capital to buy agri products. The mark-up is usually 40% to 50%. Deduct spoilage of say 15% and operating expenses of 20%, there is still 5% to 15% net. If this net is earned in a week, multiply the 5% to 15% by 52 weeks and that is how your capital grows.
2. buy and sell also of fish from the fish port and deliver them to the towns and population center is another good option. actually, it's the middlemen who makes more money than the fishermen. the mark-up is more than 100%. unsold fish can be dried up and sold as dried fish. so there is no loss to talk about.
3. sell of cellphone loads is messy and requires a lot of work, but it is very profitable. if you purchase 500 worth of load for re-sale, it can earn 70p. just imagine if your 500 is turned over 3 times a week, you will make 210. multiply that by 52 weeks and in one year your 500 will grow to 10,920. If you have, 150k, you can divide it by 5,000 to arrive at 30 persons to consign with at least two cellphones (maybe 2k per cp) and working capital of 1000 cash. Each consignee may be given a share of say 50/50, and each can make 1,500k net per month that will an income of 750p a month for your 5,000k investment. multiply that by 12 that's 9,200 a year per 5k capital or a total of 270,000 return for you 150k capital. the challenge however is big since there will be risk of being cheated by dishonest consignees or the possibility of running away with your cp and cash. but if you are diligent and creative, there is always a way to make the business successful. what you are after for at all is for your money to grow.
