Camiguin is like Bohol in the 80s. Very virginal. Next best thing to Heaven on Earth.

Beautiful!!!!

How we can go there? Is there a direct ship/or boat sailing from Tagb? How many hours to travel?  It was always on mind to go there instead of just staying most of the time in Bohol. My husband think it is dangerous to be there... Maybe next year!

Magnificent pictures.

I asked a colleague nga nakaadto sa Camiguin sandbar kung asay mas nindot nga balas sa Anda or sa Camiguin.

His answer: Anda :)

Ms. Bambi, I don't think there's a boat from Tagbilaran going directly to Camiguin just yet.  You can take an overnight boat from Tagbilaran to Cagayan de Oro then take a bus to go to Balingoan where there's a barge/boat to take you to Camiguin Island.  Give yourself at least 2 days to enjoy the island - one day to its White Island - the one that got covered with water once high tide comes.  I promise you that place was so magnificent! Please let me know next time you are in the Phils. because I have friends who hails from Camiguin and I can ask the details how to get there and where else to go.  I have been there but that was a long time ago.  My favorite aside from the White Island was the Hot Spring and the water falls - I forgot the name.

Ms. Ethyl, been there three times while I was still living in Cagayan de Oro.  the third time was with friends who were fans of the younger sister of Janice de Belen who is now married to Ariel Rivera.  That lady had a movie mostly shot in Camiguin at that time.  Sus ang mga manghak na fanatic nakong friends, arrange dayon ug weekend getaway to Camiguin ug gisubay namo tanang gi shottingan sa movie - including the sari-sari store.

I have been to Boracay, Camiguin, Batangas and the beaches of Thailand and Sta. Cruz, California, but I still love our beaches in Bohol particularly in Panglao.

Mao jud, Lin, nothing beats HOME, our sweet homey Bohol!

Miss Bambs, either you take the quickest route by plane or boat nga Cebu-Camiguin Asian Spirit or Shuttle Ferry

or via CDO or Nasipit from Jagna.

Welcome to Paradise~
The feeling of being a part of The Survivor series, with a deserted beach and an abandoned nipa hut. BLUE LAGOON? Its the emotion that this lovely lil paradise evoke (less the trees kay wala jud bisag usa ka punuan)

You can get around the island in half a day lang. So many places of interests.

Don't forget to bring home the PASTILLES!!!!!  yum yum yum!

Mr. Scott!

I feel am in "PARADISE" addressing/calling me "Miss Bams"....thanks I like! It makes me feel a bit younger.  Markus is much younger than me through this am almost at the same level.

I must have to come over to Camiguin, there was a lady (kasakay sa plane from Singapore) she was inviting me to come over to visit her Paradise. Might be next year again in our Phils....

What is Pastilles? Di ba that fruit we called "LANZONES" makes that island more popular?

Hahhahaha

Oh, I see.

The pastilles are like bread with a yema filling.
Very succulent. Very tasty. It's only available in CDO and Camuigin Ms. Bambs
That is why if I feel like eating pastilles, I just grab the yema-flavored go nuts donuts! tastes exactly the same. Goes well with coffee. hahahah

Scott, you truly capture the beauty of the Island. It could be a photo in a magazine which I hope you are affiliated to one.
I haven't been to Camiguin, would love to someday, God willing!
