Tapuwan pud ni sa amo.

Pagkatapuwan = n. laziness; adj. very lazy (also ARANG KA TAPUWAN)

Thanks for the clarification, Vince.

My paternal grandmother , who was a native of Leyte, also used the term "tapuwan" instead of the Binol-anon , "tapulan."

"Arang" i notice is used to imply an extremity of something. Thanks.

It makes sense now when my great-grandmother from Padre Burgos, Southern Leyte, said to me (when she first saw me this past summer 2010), "Dodong, arang pariho man ka sa imong papa!"

Ning ingon pood ko nija, "Lola! Arang dakoa man imong smile!"

Ingon pood baja sija nako, "Ay, kai naka kita ko sa ahong apo sa sungay!"

hahaha. Ay si lola! :)

(she is the 2nd wife of my great-grandfather, the late Mr. Teodolo Ebuenga, who was the principal of Padre Burgos High School for most of his life)
