I've always loved this prayer, perhaps many of you know it.

St. Francis' Prayer to the Lord God

Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.

Ms. Orchids,

I'm glad to know that you and I love this prayer.

It helps in strengthening us in our daily pursuits.

My favorite part in this prayer is;

For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
And it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life,

I love this prayer too, Aya san and Dodong! I hum this every time I am tested and when I am happy that I made people happy. I just love this prayer. I have sticker with this prayer in my refrigerator and I don't know why since I memorize this by heart.

Because your faith is so strong, Ma'am Orchids, and your faith is as that of a mustard seed, you have moved mountains.

Jesus said, that if we have faith even as small as a mustard seed, we can move the mountains.

For sure, you are now in the bosom of Christ Jesus...who has heard your prayers...and has called you home, by name...

It sends shock to my back to read this. And it is true, ...it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
For our life in this world is not total. When our life here ends, our spirits shall rise from the body and be called before the Judgement seat of Christ. To which we shall be judged according to our works and to our faith.

It is chilling that I posted this 5 months before your passing, Ma'am Orchids.
But i stand with it. And you and I stood with it.

It is in dying...that we are born to eternal life...
That I am very very sure of.
