Faultless Lord, enduring death for me,
You have consummated the debt of my sins:
Your sacrifice of forgiveness was absolute!
Grant me the strength to also forgive others,
To excuse their transgressions against me.
So I may truly reflect this spiritual fruit,
Obliterate any persistent feelings of malice.
Let each trespass end as a closing chapter,
My continuing on the road of righteousness.
Forgive my sins as I aspire to forgive others.
You are truly archetypical of forgiveness.
You are a most forgiving Lord!

The wisdom of the Holy Spirit is in that post, Isles. Yes, it is in forgiving that we are forgiven by our Heavenly Father. It is in forgiveness that we have a renewal, through the Grace of God.

awesome, indeed. it suddenly dawned on me that there's a lot i have to work on in terms of forgiveness. and even while i'm still on step 1, i'm already feeling a sense of fulfillment, nay, it's a sense of grace. honest.

That, my dear, is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in you...! May the Holy Spirit overwhelm you and be with you always.

I was the same, Isles, it took a while for me to forgive. But if we surrender to the Holy Spirit ...we become truly closer to God.

I was introduced to a Marian adoration prayer some time ago. I will endorse it to you, Isles. It helped me so much.
