This Psalm deals with being alone. Fore when you walk alone, you aren't fore God is with you always, watching and protecting.

Psalm 23

A Psalm of David.
1) The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

2) He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,

3) he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.

4) Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

5) You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.

6) Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

God Bless YOU! For the Lord will never abandon those who call his name, ALL GLORY AND PRAISE be to OUR MOST LOVING FATHER!

Don, reading these passages have reduced me to tears. Mighty tears.

My very humble and yet extremely intelligent brother, always, always, always put your TRUST in GOD.

FOR who can be against you when God is with you? NO ONE.

Anything is possible. There are no limitations. For HE is your staff and your rock.

This is my wife's memory verse, and it also touches me very deeply. I always claim the assurance that even when I am alone, I will never be lonely, because He is with me...

I draw strength from one specific passage in scripture. This passage was crucial to me when I was a freshman in college and far away from the love of my father, mother, and my younger sister and baby brothers. This passage strengthened me and comforted me so very much; so many times.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerers through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
