This is the confidence we have in approaching God:

that if we ask anything according to His will,

He hears us.

And if we know that He hears usâ€“whatever we askâ€“

we know that we have what we asked of Him.

Confidence in what we ask for in the Lord.

Jesus Christ tells us that we merely have to ask in His Name, and He will provide.
