"This is a song I wrote around 1994 when I was stationed at St. Ann Church & National Shrine, Metairie, Louisiana. The text came from a prayer card given to me by Mrs Vivian Stassi (+) who used to work at the parish religious store. It's a beautiful tribute to the Blessed Mother... from the perspective of a young child. This video is almost 5 minutes old ^_^

LOVELY LADY DRESSED IN BLUE (LYRICS)
Text: Unknown (from a prayer card or stampeta)
Music and arrangement by Fr. J. Roel Lungay
1
Lovely Lady, dressed in blue,
Teach me how to pray!
God was just your little boy,
Tell me what to say!
Did you lift Him up sometimes
Gently on your knee?
Did you sing to Him the way
Mother does to me?
Did you hold His hand at night?
Did you ever try...
2
Telling stories of the world?
O! And did He cry?
Do you really think He cares
If I tell Him things,
Little things that happen?
And do the Angel's wings make a noise?
And can He hear me if I speak low?
Does He understand me now?
Tell me, for you know...
3
Lovely Lady, dressed in blue,
Teach us how to pray!
God was just your little boy
And you now the way!
