Bible study suggestions?
« on: February 20, 2011, 03:55:29 PM »

My husband and I are going to start studying the bible together. Does anyone have any good topic ideas? Also, I've never been to an actual bible study before.. how does it work? I mean, what all goes into having a good bible study session? I'd go and find out for myself, but I am disabled and can't leave my house much.

Hi Doll.

Starting a bible study is a good idea. It is a good way to learn more and build a strong foundation with God. I would suggest you start reading the bible with Mark or Matthew because these books provide a good background on the biography of Jesus Christ and will give you an understanding of what the books in the old testament are for, and the coming of Christ. And His Message.

Start with Matthew or Mark. Then finish the new testament accordingly. Then you can go back and read Old Testament.

Good luck with your study. If you want, you could even talk with us here on biblical questions. I myself am a student of the Bible.

God Bless You, Sister!
