Hope glimmers for informal settlers in barangay Behind the Clouds in the Municipality of Batuan as top government official in the Visayas vows to look into their plight.

Presidential Assistant (PA) for the Visayas Felix Guanzon promised to bring in the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) to arrange for the conversion of timberlands into alienable and disposable lands so residents occupying the area can finally call them their own.

These informal settlers are considered illegal occupants in a portion of the timberlands where they found refuge after they had to abandon their homes in battle-scarred sitios Cambuslot and Cansingi.          

Guanzon conquered the hearts of the former rebel supporters when he bravely set foot in the barangay, an act most local government officials never dared to do.
Guanzon is one of the very few officials close to the President, who has conquered fear and set foot in the barangay.

the origin of the name goes like this:
sa panahon sa japanese occupation, the place we now called behind the clouds was where boholano guerillas had their camp. they named it behind the clouds as a trick to japanese armies so that when the latter asks the whereabouts of the camp, the guerilla's filipino comrades will say, "there, behind the clouds"
