So .... the political landscape of Baclayon has come to a new era.

This may bode well for the economy and development of the municipality. The Uy epoch (since the time Atty Felix Uy was the mayor and thru the reign of his brod Engr. Benny Uy, business prospects in the locality have been monopolized by them or their confederates.

With the loss of Atty. Felix Uy from the provincial kagawad race for the 1st district (was he junked by his partymates and by Cong. Chatto in favor of Ae Damalerio, Chatto's congressional office chief of staff?), he now have more time for his favorite vice (casino) and mend the family affairs. His wife, Marilyn "Boobsie" Uy ran as vice mayoral candidate with Alvin Uy (this Uy is not blood related to the Uys of which Boobsie is married to) and they won over the line up of incumbent Mayor Benny Uy who fielded his wife Elena as the Lakas-CMD candidate for mayor, ostensibly to prolong the current Uy political dynasty.

Hurrah for enlightenment !!!

Political dynasty only signifies that these people don't really want to work. Easy money. That's the only conclusion the world has ever known.

I'm happy for this political development in my father's hometown.
Congratulations to my two good friends: Mayor ALVIN and Kag. JODEL!
