If you could pick a person in history who you truly admire and respect, who is it?

Provide a reason why.

Prophet Muhammad - is the founder of the religion of Islam and is regarded by Muslims as a messenger and prophet of God. Although I am a Catholic, I couldn't help but admire what he did to preach the words of Allah

i have two favorites, actually.. 1st is JOSE RIZAL - he's our national hero. he used his intelligence in fighting the spaniards. he never used violence and he died for the filipino people.

2nd is mahatma gandhi of india. he was a great political leader. he served his people selflessly. if the leaders in our country will be like him, then, there's no room for corruption.

Mozart and Beethoven

Their music existed and will never fade until the end of time.

Napoleon Bonaparte.

His strategy in warfare and tactics were shear brilliance. His supreme victory over the Russians and Austrian-Hungarians at Austerlitz were near perfection.

He is, probably, the greatest general in all of human history.

usually they were conquer first before preach as what Ottoman did, who doesn't follow must die.
i don't know if it was a right way of preaching people before, but if ever somebody will do like Ottoman at this era i'm pretty sure that nobody follows to these people.

Another one: John Webster

In my view, he is one of the last Elizabethan playwrights worthy of remembrance. His work "The Devil's Law Case" was pure entertainment.

I choose our Sovereign Ete Francisco Sindrejas Dagohoy. He kept Bohol independent for about 100 years out from Spanish Government during Spanish occupation in the Philippines.

eleanor roosevelt - i admire her so much. the way that she balanced her personal life even if she cannot be all the time private. she supported her husband. and even if she lost her parents at an early age, she managed to be wise after all. i write in my free time - i can relate to her. and she loves women and made sure that during her time, women are respected and given recognition. she held on to her belief that physical beauty doesn't matter all the time, as long as you are true to yourself and loyal to those you love, all beauty will be seen in your face.

i love her quotes. she was once sober and insecure but lifted her self up and one of her unforgettable quotes is 'no one can make you feel inferior without your consent.' love it!
