When I am teaching a class, and or participating in a class, I am full of bravado and quick to answer.
I've clashed with many heads during debates, in class and out of class.
I've corrected professors multiple times; so much that whenever I raise a hand to answer a question, some professors (I refuse to name them) will look on. lol.
Learning new things, to me, is a passionate conviction. What titillates is when I find something incorrect yet the teacher continues to teach the wrong.
I guess it is part of the scientific method. To uncover the truth, and repudiate the falsified assumption. Unfortunately the road to doing that sometimes can be thorny and filled with pebbles. The trick is, as what one professor told me, is learning to walk over the pebbles.
